The iPod had become the favourite gadget of a generation. Millions of users carry it with them wherever they go, and have an on-demand access to their favourite music. But iPods can (and have been) used for storing photos, video, documents and other useful (to their user) files. 

Like every other piece of hardware, an iPod at some point can fail. If this happens, and you do not have a backup of your files, than you may find yourself in a very difficult position.

Strathclyde Forensics will try to retrieve all the data that can be restored from you iPod, and return it to you either in an other iPod (if you provided one) or an a CD/DVD disk.

Like in any data retrieval operation, the amount of data that can be retrieved depends on type of damage your gadget has suffered.
