Scottish Legal Aid
The Scottish Legal
Aid scheme provides people in Scotland with legal representation if
they can not afford a lawyer or if they are on benefits or other
special circumstances. The Legal Aid is claimed by the solicitor who
represents the individual. However Legal Aid covers other expenses
related to the defence of an individual, including forensic
consultancy.
Strathclyde Forensics
is proud to offer special discounts to solicitors who are claiming
Legal Aid for their clients. Contact us and inform us in advance if
your client is paying through Legal Aid and we shall do our best to
help you.
If you live in England and Wales, you can contact the Community
Legal Advice (CLA) service which provide
free legal help. If you are an individual, the CLA and the CAB
(Citizens Advice Bureau) should be your first point of contact if
you can not afford to directly hire a lawyer to your defence.
