BREAKING NEWS: Strathclyde Forensics reveals how police procedures can compromise investigations.

In a recent case, we examined a Nokia N95 mobile phone (Symbian device) as part of a criminal investigation. The phone was kept in a police station, and the second investigation we performed on behalf of the defence, revelled that the wrong amount of messages was extracted initially, while the device lost important pieces of data like the call logs. The problems in the police's platform (CellDEK) were not identified until Strathclyde Forensics compared two different sets of results coming from the same police evidence.

If you are a solicitor and you have had a case with a Symbian phone playing a vital role in your client's defence or conviction, then you may be interested to see if the evidence was compromised and should have been excluded in the first place. Contact Strathclyde Forensics for a no-obligation discussion.
