Passwords are used by almost every computer user. You need a password to login to your PC at work, your email, your bank or EBay account. Passwords are a basic requirement for things to work in our information society. However there are certain problems associated with passwords that compromise their validity and role.

Most people use passwords that are very obvious (partners or children's names, DOB, plate number etc). Many people also do the mistake to keep written copies of passwords in their desks, wallets or even in their mobile phones or their email accounts.
